Why it made orbit
Some lamps light a room. This one floats in it. The Luna Float Lamp hangs a glowing moon in mid-air above its base and turns it slowly, all on its own.
The moon is 3D-printed from a lunar surface map, so the craters and ridges look right when the light hits them. A tap on the base changes the glow, from cozy warm to crisp white (the 18cm size adds a third color).
It works as a night light, a desk centerpiece or the most talked-about thing on a bookshelf. Set it down, find the float point and let it do its thing.

Is it hard to get the moon floating?+
It takes a few tries the first time. Hold the moon a couple of inches above the powered base, move it slowly until you feel the balance point, then let go. After that it's muscle memory.
What's the difference between the two sizes?+
The 14cm moon switches between warm and white light. The 18cm moon is bigger and adds a third color option.
